Croatia
Croatia is truly a sailors' playground that will bewitch, energise and enrich you. They say that after making the world, God scattered the leftover rocks here to create a labyrinth of sea passages that needed no improvement. After sailing in these waters you will agree! These islands, luxuriant with pine forests, vineyards and olive groves and infinite in intricacy, are the Med's multi-coloured jewels just waiting to be discovered by inquisitive sailors. An extended fleet of new yachts and a string of equally new, modern marinas afford you all the comfort you need for your exploration.

The Dalmatian coast and its offshore islands in the Adriatic has a Mediterranean type of climate with mild winters and warm, sunny summers. The coast is backed by the high mountains of the Dinaric Alps. A feature of the winter weather is a cold gusty wind, the bora, which brings cold air from central and eastern Europe down to the coast for a few days at a time; it blows particularly violently in the north of the Adriatic. Summers on this coast are not entirely rainless, and the fine, sunny weather is often interrupted by thunderstorms. Sunshine averages some four hours a day in winter and from ten to twelve hours a day in summer.
