Turkey
A
remote and largely unblemished coastline offers beautiful anchorages and sleepy fishing villages. You will always be able to find a deserted bay just large enough for a couple of yachts to be snugly anchored together. The scented, pine-covered mountains and inky-blue sea invigorate your senses. Get out your snorkel and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean. An old favourite with many charterers who return here year after year and yet have plenty more to see.

Western Turkey has a temperate Mediterranean climate in the coastal areas. The existence in particular of the mountains that run parallel to the coasts, result in significant differences in climatic conditions inland. The Aegean and Mediterranean coasts have cool, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. Spring and autumn are generally mild. This provides for a long tourist season in the popular resorts of Bodrum, Gocek and Marmaris. This southwestern coast of Anatolia has average temperatures of 9°C in winter and 29°C in summer.
